Sandusky Christmas Market Event Opens Friday November 29, 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sandusky, Ohio. The First Annual Sandusky Christmas Market event opens Friday November 29, 2024. This the first annual festive and family-friendly Christmas Market coming to Sandusky. Experience holiday cheer with unique gifts, festive food, local entertainers and family fun.
Hosted by the Jimm Corso Family Foundation in cooperation with the City of Sandusky, Shores and Islands, and the Greater Sandusky Partnership. This Christmas Market is set to transform downtown Sandusky into a magical winter wonderland this holiday season. This enchanting holiday event will feature an array of local artisans, festive food vendors, live entertainment, and fun for the entire family.
The Sandusky Christmas Market will be held at Mylander Plaza over three (3) consecutive weekends, beginning Friday, November 29th.
- Weekend 1: November 29 – December 1st
- Weekend 2: December 6 – December 8th
- Weekend 3: December 13 & December 14th
Opening Day will be Friday, November 29th and will include the lighting of the Plaza Christmas Tree, a magical moment that will illuminate downtown Sandusky.
Additionally, be sure not to miss the Washington Park Holiday Tree Lighting event, taking place just before, only a couple blocks away. The three weekend-long Market event will go through Saturday, December 14th, leading right into Sandusky’s 4th Annual Winter Wonderland event, and conclude that evening with a fantastic fireworks display!
There are many ways to be a part of this event! We are currently accepting Craft and Food Vendor applications and looking for a variety of Entertainers (local choirs/singers, etc.). Volunteers and Sponsors that would like to participate in this exciting event can fill out applications at SanduskyChristmasMarket.com.
Sponsors will receive tickets (depending on sponsorship contribution) to the VIP Kick-Off Party being held at Daly’s on Opening Day.
This Inaugural Sandusky Christmas Market will be dedicated to honoring the legacy of Jim Corso, a cherished and dedicated member of his community, and a man that passionately loved Christmas.
