The Sandusky Christmas Market Foundation (honoring the legacy of Jimm Corso) is pleased to announce that the Sandusky Christmas Market will be returning in 2026! Like last year’s popular Market, the Schade-Mylander Plaza in Downtown Sandusky will once again be filled with more than 35 local vendors, offering a wide variety of handmade gifts, seasonal treats, and festive activities for the whole community to enjoy. With 4 weekends to enjoy the market be sure to come experience the magic of the Sandusky Christmas Market.

Celebrate the holiday season at the Run The Lights - Sandusky, a festive 2-mile run/walk and part of the RUNDUSKY Race Series!
The event benefits the Jimm Corso Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind the Sandusky Christmas Market.
The course takes you through the Christmas displays in Washington Park and starts and finishes under the holiday lights on Columbus Avenue.
Participants will receive a custom Pom Hat and a unique wood finisher medallion with a lanyard that can also be used as a Christmas ornament, included with registration!
In addition to awards for the top finishers (Age Groups TBD), there will be prizes for the best Christmas-themed costume and the best ugly sweater!

Celebrating the Legacy of Jimm Corso
Jimm Corso, who sadly passed away in 2020, was a man deeply devoted to his community. His son, Chris, shared that his father’s influence and being raised in Sandusky were key factors in shaping him into the successful businessman he is today. Jimm instilled in Chris the values of hard work, commitment, and the importance of not only being a part of the community, but also giving back to it.

Everyone is welcome to attend this enchanting holiday event that will feature an array of local artisans, festive food vendors, live entertainment, and fun for all. Market-goers can expect to find handcrafted gifts, holiday decor, and gourmet treats, perfect for everyone on your shopping list!
There will also be a wide range of festive performances from local DJs to bands and choirs from area schools. This event is inspired by a European/German theme, similar to the old riverfront markets. The Sandusky Christmas Market will kick-off with a grand Christmas tree lighting and conclude with a dazzling fireworks show.
Our Third Annual Market wouldn’t be possible without the support of the City of Sandusky, Shores & Islands, Ohio, Greater Sandusky Partnership, Cedar Point, and of course our incredible community that contributed to the great success of our second annual Market in 2025.
